Mangoceuticals got paid today. Mostly. $MGRX is -7.16% after hours on a $2.5 million strategic investment into its subsidiary MangoRx IP Holdings. The release splits that money in two: $1.75 million received, and $750,000 due by November 28, 2026.
The other half of the story is what the two investors actually bought. They get a 25% membership interest in the IP subsidiary, not stock in the parent. The parent's share count stays where it was. What it gives up is a quarter of the entity that holds the IP. The cost is ownership of the IP, not dilution of the parent.
The after-hours dip doesn't settle anything on its own. In 20 prior $MGRX sessions that opened at least 5% below the prior close, 60% closed above that day's open, with a median open-to-close of +2.75%. That is a short ledger. Tonight's move isn't an opening gap yet, so the history does not apply to tomorrow.
One line in the release can still be checked against reality: the $750,000 due on November 28.
