The complaint alleges revenue recorded from sham consulting agreements with entities controlled by a named defendant, plus undisclosed related-party transactions, on behalf of buyers between December 15, 2021 and September 3, 2026.

None of today's articles explains a gain. A class-action solicitation invites past buyers to sue. It gives new buyers no reason to show up. The only dated news is a lawsuit, and the price is moving the other way, so the move is unexplained.
The stock's own record helps more than the headline. NCPL has 23 prior sessions where it opened at least 5% above the previous close. In 65% of them, it closed below that open. The median open-to-close was -7.43%, and the mean was +1.69%.
Those last two numbers carry the lesson. A positive average next to a negative typical session means a few large closes above the open pulled the mean up. When an average is built by outliers, it describes a lottery, not a setup.
